Slow Food is an idea, a way of living and a way of eating.  It is a grassroots movement with thousands of members around the world that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and enviroment.  The Jamesport Manor Inn's involvement in the Slow Food Movement continues under the direct of Executive Chef Michael Mandleur.  Chef Mandleur brings his NYC experiences with Slow Food to the North Fork on Friday, October 1.  The three course Slow Food Dinner Prix Fixe feature produce, seafood, cheese, poultry and wine procured from our local food producers and wineries.  Slow Food partners, our local purveyors, include Wickhams' Farms, Satur Farms, Braun Seafood, Catapano Dairy Farm, Woodside Farms, Martha Clara Vineyards, Lenz Vineyards, and Paumanok Vineyards.  To vew complete menu, click here.  Offered at $70 per person.  Reservations required.
